SubscriberI have been using LS Dyna for about 2 years, and now my university has transitioned from LS-Run to ANSYS as our primary solver for LS Dyna. I have created countless .k files surrounding Toyota's THuMS model, and I need to be able to run them in ANSYS. However, ANSYS does not recognize the geometry from any of the .k files, and LS PrePost will not export the geometry of the THuMS model into an IGES, because it says there are 'no geometry entities in this model'.
Is there any way I can either solve the .k file directly through ANSYS or export the geometry using a .k file? Any leads are greatly appreciated.

Ansys EmployeeAs of current build of ANSYS and ANSYS WB, Few Material models, FEA Bodies( springs , dampers, beams, e.t.c) are not supported. So importing the .k file into the ANSYS environments will give you error or with few build it might load forever with possible freezing.
Cheers, Ram

SubscriberI keep getting ÔÇ£Unknown License ErrorÔÇØ.
Is there a source where I can see which FEA bodies and materials are supported by ANSYS?
