Subscriber老师你好, 我最近在做的一个仿真是在FDTD solution软件中实现下图所示的结构及功能,目标是在Silver金属与空气层激发Surface plasma polaritons, 研究SPP 在silver/air表面传输的损耗,目前我存在的问题是如何在FDTD软件中激发SPP, 以及,因为实验过程中会需要改变SPP 的传输方向,因此光源应该如何选择呢?

Ansys Employee你自己也说了,要在Silver金属与空气层激发Surface plasma polaritons;另外要研究SPP 在silver/air表面传输的损耗。看图似乎是基底上有一层银,有半圆的沟槽形成波导。你是要研究这个波导的SPP传输损耗,还是要研究整个器件的损耗? 如果是弯曲波导的SPP波导损耗,可以使用MODE中的FDE找到这个波导模式; 如果找不到这个模式,或者要研究整个器件的性能,则可以用会聚的NA光束用FDTD来仿真,不过还是需要找到SPP的波长进而找到其性能特性。 当然如果你能有解析的SPP场也可以作为自输入光源来仿真。请先NarrowDown你的研究目的,然后一步一步进行。July 6, 2023 at 3:33 amKaizhu Liu

波长大于它的激励源波长? SPP是线性光学,不存在波长转换问题,只是SPP的“波长”是反算的,并不是真的有这个波长的光存在。你需要再考虑一下。
