SubscriberHi,
I'm very new to ANSYS and I'm using 2021R1.
I was wondering if there is a way to change my output text file of a solution from node number to the cartesian coordinates of the solution.
Thanks

SubscriberHi Lily I'm using 2021R1 and when I right click on a Deformation result and Export, it includes the x,y,z coordinates of the node as well as the deformation.
If I want the cartesian coordinates of the deformation, then I need to export three Directional Deformation results, one for x, one for y and one for z.

SubscriberI have figured it out, but thought I should post here in case anyone else needs it:
In Mechanical, hit file -> options -> export
This will allow you to change your output settings.Viewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘How to change output from node number to xyz coordinates?’ is closed to new replies.
