SubscriberHi,
I need to know how Ansys fluent computes "Overall Sound Pressure Level in dB" ? No information in the Fluent theory guide.
Regards

Ansys EmployeeHello,
The Overall Sound Pressure Level is the integral of the SPL (spectra) over all frequencies. If you modify the settings of your FFT postprocessing this number would slightly change, as the spectra would change. The dB levels are based on the reference acoustic pressure.
Hope this helps

SubscriberWill you please explain a little more. I have to integrate SPL(db) or PSD (Pa^2/Hz)?
