SubscriberHow to write a .ttab file and .prof file in notepad or excel and then make ansys read that profile file ?. I see that I am unable to save data as .ttab extension in excel. And I have no idea about how to write .prof extension file.

AdministratorThe format of your profile file should be like this. Please see the following link for details (Fluent Users Guide).
I'd arrange the data in Excel and save it as a .txt file first. Then, I'd simply click on the file and change the format to .prof.
Please make sure that your profile file format is strictly followed. Otherwise, your file will not be read by Fluent.
I hope this helps.

SubscriberI wrote a Profile file from ansys. And then I put my data from excel to that profile file in the correct profile format and it worked. Thanks for your suggestion.
