How to decorate a model from a stl file

  I exported the stl file through static analysis.
  
  When I built solid with spaceclaim, the following situation occurred.

  Please see this post, I do this for a topology optimized part. Once you've cleaned up your STL file, you would basically have to recreate your CAD Geometry.
  
  You can additionally use Virtual Topology that might help you to an Extent in Mechanical.
