Nonlinear behavior in structural responses of engineering systems is very common, and understanding different sources of nonlinearities and handling them properly is key to becoming a successful structural analyst. The treatment of nonlinearities is applicable to both static and dynamic analysis to study both stress and dynamic response of structures. In this learning track, the simulation experts at Ansys have created a list of courses that provide all the fundamentals necessary to understanding and handling different types of nonlinearities in structural analysis. This track focuses on the use of Ansys Mechanical, but the covered theoretical concepts are also applicable to other commercial finite element solvers.
