K-omega Model Turbulence Damping Option

What is the k-omega model turbulence damping option?

In the multiphase flow calculation, the strain rate tends to become large at the interphase interface compared with the surroundings, and when used in combination with the turbulence model, the turbulence energy is generated according to the strain rate at the relevant place. As a result, there is a problem that eddy viscosity is overestimated in the vicinity of the interface when using the ke or k-w type turbulence model.
Among the turbulence models in Ansys Fluent software, the RNG k-e model includes a term for suppressing dissipation of even in places with high strain rates, so it is possible to avoid the above situation.
