Checking Y+ Values

How do I check Y+?

For a 3D case,
1. Click Display-> Contour-> Turbulence-> Y Plus of the surface of interest.
2. Turn off Node Value display.
3. You can now check if the minimum and maximum Y+ forms an appropriate range

For a 2D Case,
1. Click Display-> Contour-> Turbulence-> Y Plus. You do not need to select any Surfaces
2. Turn off Node Value display
3. You can now check the value of Y+ (note to ignore the value of Y+ except for cells adjacent to the wall).

Recommended value for Y+ for a fine mesh is 1, and 30 to 500 for a wall function.
