Question – If I define Isotropic hardening curves for two different temperatures and I run an analysis at a temperature between the two temperature curves, how will the solver utilize the data? Will the solver interpolate?
Answer - The solver interpolates for temperature between the defined temperatures values for isotropic hardening curves. However, the solver does not extrapolate, so for temperature outside of defined range, it simply uses the min or the max range defined. For such case, it would also give warning/error message in solver output. Please refer to attached sample case for more details to see how the material properties are handle at multiple temperatures.
