How to Use Plots and Reports for Post-Processing in Ansys Fluent - Lesson 3
Post-processing is the process of extracting meaning results from the solution data that is generated from solving any simulation problem. Post-processing can be categorized into two major segments: qualitative, or visualization based; and quantitative, or number based. In this lesson we will learn how to use the Reports and Plots group of the Results tab of Ansys Fluent for performing quantitative analysis. We will learn about plotting solution data using XY plots, as well as how to compute and extract numerical results using different reports like forces, fluxes, surface integrals, and volume integrals. Finally, we will also understand how to generate and export simulation report.
