width= width=This course covers the comprehensive understanding of performance parameters in electrical machines. For instance, it delves into the analysis of magnetizing currents, no-load currents, full-load currents, MMF's, fluxes, B values, flux densities, flux intensity values, inductance values, and torque components. It also explains the calculation of efficiency considering different types of losses. The course further discusses the concept of magnetizing current and the role of air gaps in establishing flux in rotating electrical machines. It introduces the concept of effective length in electromagnetic devices, focusing on the iron core's actual and effective length. The course also covers the process of calculating magnetizing inductance in a machine and the concept of leakage inductances in electrical machines. Lastly, it provides an understanding of the equivalent circuit analysis of an induction machine.
