Moving/Rotating Geometry with Time
When a transient CFX case (.res and .trn files) with moving geometry (for example a transient turbomachinery) case is loaded into Ansys EnSight™ simulation data visualization software, the geometry doesn't move/rotate with time. Why is this happening?
This behavior can be changed with the following steps in Ansys EnSight software.
1. When opening a case, select Advanced Interface.
2. Open the Format options tab
3. Set Transient Geometry? = Yes (Coordinates only)
4. Load all parts
