How to perform a 2D analysis in Ansys LS-DYNA® nonlinear dynamics structural simulation software?

You can simulate multiple 2D problem types such as Axisymmetric, plane stress, plane strain, etc. in Ansys LS-DYNA software. But you need to prepare the 2D geometry such that all nodes are in XY plane (Z-coordinate is 0) and for axisymmetric problems, the Y-axis should the axis of symmetry and all nodes must have a X-coordinate greater than or equal to 0.
