Validation in Refine mode — Lesson 5
The goal of this lesson is to validate Explore-Mode results by comparing them with Refine-Mode results in Ansys Discovery™ 3D product simulation software. Refine-Mode leverages Ansys' flagship technologies for both meshing and solving. This lesson explores simulation and meshing options in Refine-Mode, transferring physics conditions and local fidelity settings from Explore-Mode. Additional topics include convergence settings, solver selection, turbulence models, meshing methods, and mesh quality tools. The lesson focuses on using the LiveGX solver and Tetrahedra meshing, both of which are also available in Ansys Fluent™ fluid simulation software.
