Welcome to the Advanced Fluids Learning Track in Ansys Discovery™ 3D product simulation software. In this learning track, we will explore real life scenarios, such as how would the fluid heat be transferred over to the solid components and vice versa. We will also see how you can simulate a fluid flow through filters, as the use cases for such simulation are endless, from an oil filter to an air and water filter in various industries. Lastly, we will see a case, where we would need to simulate fluid rotation and its effect on the fluid flow. This learning track will be divided into three different courses, such as Conjugate Heat Transfer, Porous media and Rotating Fluids (Moving Reference Frames) in Ansys Discovery Software. Let’s get started!
In this course, we will cover the complete workflow for an Electronic Enclosure model and will also show you how you can setup and run Conjugate Heat Transfer (CHT) simulation in Ansys Discovery™ 3D product simulation software. Over the course of four lessons, you will mas...Read more
Many industrial applications involve flow through a porous medium, such as packed bed, filter paper, perforated plate, tube bank, and so on. Generally, a porous medium geometry is inherently complicated. Using the porous media model to create a representative porous zone in...Read more
In this course, we will explore the advanced features in Ansys Discovery™ 3D product simulation software: Rotating Fluids. We will focus on the Rotating Fluids (Moving Reference Frames – MRF) feature. This involves using the rotating fluid zone capability to...Read more
