Re-using Reduced Matrices in Transient Analysis — Lesson 8

Is there a way to re-use the reduced matrices to solve more loading histories in a reduced transient analysis?

A CMS Superelement to do the matrix reduction could be re-used in a full transient. An advantage of this approach is that a CMS Superelement will provide a more accurate dynamic representation of the reduced structure than the Guyan Reduction used in a reduced transient. Also, a CMS Superelement can be generated using the Sparse solver, which is much faster than the frontal solver used to perform the matrix reduction in a reduced transient.
