Distortion Compensation & Optimal Scale Factor

Is there any guidance for predicting distortion compensation and establishing an optimal scale factor?

Experienced users have observed that scale factors between 0.25 - 0.50 are usually very good.

After 2-3 iterations you get an STL that will give close to the expected geometry when built.

Also "compensation" should be tried after you have done orientation & support optimization for your build. So that you have an optimized build strategy first & then the last thing to do is get a good compensated build.
