Effect of Contact Type on Thermal Results

Can the contact type (bonded or frictional) affect thermal results?

Yes, it can be based on the contact settings and status. For example, consider the case where the contact status is Open and the gap is within the pinball radius (near open condition). For that case, bonded contact considers that gap to be closed and conducts heat through the contact interface, whereas frictional contact considers gap to be open and does not conduct heat through the contact interface.
