Why does Fatigue Tool in a PSD in a random vibration analysis ask for turning on velocity calculation?
The frequency-based fatigue depends on the statistical frequency, that is the ratio of RMS velocity over RMS displacement. By default, WB only writes the displacement solution into the database. This can be changed under Analysis SettingsOutput Controls.
