Which material laws can be used to model foams?
Two materials laws can be considered when modeling foams.
- Ogden foam model (for more information, refer to Ansys Help Material Reference > Nonlinear material properties > Hyperelasticity > Ogden compressible foam hyperelasticity).
- Blatz Ko model (for more information, refer to Ansys Help Material Reference > Nonlinear material properties > Hyperelasticity > Blatz-Ko foam hyperelasticity).
If the foam can be considered slightly compressible, the usual hyperelastic models can be used.
