Modelling using SMART Fatigue Crack Growth with Pressure Loading

Question - Do you have a simple example of SMART fatigue crack growth in which a tabular R ratio (stress ratio) and tabular pressure loading are considered?

Answer - Yes, please check the attached Workbench Project Archive.

Block A contains the simple geometry.
Block B contains a simple crack analysis with fracture parameter calculation.
Block C contains a simple SMART Fatigue Crack Growth (SMART FCG) analysis.
Block D contains a SMART FCG analysis with tabular R ratio (R=K_min/K_max).
Block E contains a SMART FCG analysis with tabular R ratio and tabular pressure loading.

Further information about Paris' law and how SMART calculates crack growth depending on loading, stress ratio R, etc. you can find in the ANSYS Help at

section "3.2.1.6 Specifying the Crack-Extension Increments in a Step".

Please note: The sole and only purpose of the given example model is to illustrate the workflow of SMART FCG features. Accordingly, please use the provided data (especially material data) with care and make sure to use own engineering judgement if the applied assumptions are physically adequate.
