Intro to Ansys Granta Selector- Lesson 1

 
As a first step we will explore the structure of materials data available in Ansys Granta Selector. Here we will learn about the different material properties available in each datasheet, including physical, mechanical, thermal, and environmental attributes. The same will be illustrated for the data available for different manufacturing processes. Then we will see how this data can be visualized with the charting tools available in the software. This will help in comparing different materials in regard to specific properties and eventually illuminate our material selection process for different applications.
