This lesson discusses the three types of Ansys licenses: floating licenses, elastic currency, and subscription keys. Floating licenses are commercial licenses installed on a license server, elastic currency is purchased as Ansys Elastic Currency (AEC) and grants access to Ansys licenses, and subscription keys are assigned to a specific user through the Ansys MyAccount Portal.
