Ansys Discovery features the first simulation-driven design tool in which users can create and modify geometry using direct modeling technology, define simulations, and interact with results in real time. To successfully prepare the geometry for performing CFD analysis, it is very important to understand the use and functionality of various geometry design and modification options in Discovery. This lesson deals with the Combine tool, which is a multipurpose tool used for merging bodies together, dividing bodies with help of planes or other bodies, and many more applications. The Combine tool has a very specific routine workflow that will be described in this lesson.
