Meshing, Front and Side Impact in Ansys Mechanical — Lesson 2

A BAJA Vehicle should be able to negotiate rough terrain without damage while protecting the driver from all types of impact and roll-over incidents. The roll cage should be strong enough to bear such adverse conditions while remaining light in weight.

In this video, you will learn how to generate a mesh and apply loads and boundary conditions in Ansys Mechanical. The aim is to find out the resulting stress and deformation due to front and side impact on the chassis.
