Have you ever jumped off a plane to skydive?

This thrilling activity requires the skydivers to know their distance from the ground. This can be tracked by measuring the atmospheric pressure using an altimeter, which is an advanced form of a barometer. Here we are going to explore how pressure measurement devices such as barometers and manometers work, applying what we learned in the previous lesson.
