This workshop covers thermal management simulations using Ansys Discovery™3D product simulation software and Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT)™ Icepak® software. You will learn to perform concept studies in Ansys Discovery software, set up models, and run Design of Experiments (DOE) to evaluate different design options. The best design will be transferred to Ansys Electronics Desktop (AEDT) Icepak software for detailed simulations, using higher fidelity inputs to accurately predict temperatures. The workshop includes practical exercises on importing CAD files, preparing simulations, assigning materials, setting boundary conditions, and post-processing results.
