Senior Business Development Executive - Aerospace & Defense(16817)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and assist in the capture of high-value opportunities in the national security market.
- Contribute to the prioritization of new business pursuits, provide guidance and support to growing/accelerating the sales pipeline and driving marketing and product alignment activities.
- Manage and retain strategic relationships with key stakeholders and thought leaders in the market.
- Assist customers in meeting their requirements and filling capability gaps with products and technologies available or being developed by Ansys.
- Serve as a senior selling mentor and market area expert in support of overall FA&D objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, marketing, and partners to deliver the excellent customer experience of Ansys.
- Coordinate with engineering and sales personnel in preparing, editing and presenting briefings, as well as facilitating discussions with customers and partners.
- Research business opportunities and identify viable income streams for white space expansion.
- Follow and report on industry trends.
- Represent Ansys at trade shows, industry days, conferences, and industry association events.
