Key Duties and Responsibilities 

• Participates in planning, architecture, and research in DPF and linear dynamics features.

• Performs basic development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing and documentation of software modules and sub-systems.

• Learns and employs best practices and helps to maintain them through technical reviews and mentoring.  Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions.

• Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.

• Researches and understands the marketing requirements for the finite element and computational mechanics product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues. Works with strategic customers or proxies to assess needs and develop solutions.

• Works under the general supervision of a development manager
