RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop automation workflows for photonic component design and data collection.
• Implement and maintain advanced photonic compact models for use in circuit-level simulation.
• Support development and verification of new features and performance improvements within Lumerical’s simulation framework, including new physics and new optimization algorithms, such as inverse design.
• Apply GPU and distributed computing to practical problems in photonic design. Understand real world impact and use of Lumerical tools
