Application Engineer – Electromagnetics & IC Signal Integrity (13247)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply your engineering expertise and knowledge of electromagnetics to deliver exceptional technical support to customers, ensuring high-quality, timely solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and productivity.
- Take ownership of customer challenges, proactively engaging with selected accounts to deliver comprehensive electromagnetic solutions and contribute to technical activities throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Interact with customers to understand their product design requirements and engineering workflows, effectively articulating the value proposition of Synopsys and Ansys solutions.
- Collaborate on the delivery of professional services projects, working alongside fellow application engineers across various disciplines to address complex engineering challenges.
- Create and maintain scripting solutions (e.g., Python) that automate and streamline customer workflows, enhancing the usability and efficiency of our solvers.
- Utilize your familiarity with high frequency, 3DIC, interposer concepts, and signal/power integrity analysis to support advanced simulation and analysis tasks, including S-parameters, wave propagation, layout dependent effects, and more.
- Support package, printed circuit board, and connector design processes using EDA tools, ensuring customers achieve optimal design outcomes.
