Boost Simulation with Ansys LS-DYNA in the Cloud with AWS
About this Webinar
Ansys LS-DYNA is the most used explicit simulation program in the world and can simulate the response of materials to short periods of severe loading. Its many elements, contact formulations, material models, and other controls, can simulate complex models with authority over all the problem details. Ansys LS-DYNA applications include drop tests of all types, impacts, explosions, penetration, crashworthiness, product failure, manufacturing processes, vehicle crash, etc. Engineers can tackle simulations involving material failure and look at how the failure progresses through a part or a system. Models with large amounts of parts or surfaces interacting with each other are also easily handled, and the interactions and load passing between complex behaviors are modeled accurately. Cloud capabilities with higher CPU cores can drastically reduce solution times.
These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation, and leveraging an HPC cluster is often tedious, time-consuming, and expensive. Ansys recently partnered with AWS (Amazon Web Services) to develop a new product that optimizes using Ansys applications on the cloud.
Ansys Gateway powered by AWS is the solution for developers, designers, and engineers who want to manage their complete Ansys Simulation & CAD/CAE developments in the cloud. Access cloud computing resources from anywhere on virtually any device via your web browser. You can create, customize, and connect cloud applications with minimal technical skills. Install your 3rd party applications alongside Ansys applications.
