Electrified Powertrain System High-fidelity Models and Multilevel Model Libraries
Simulation-based digital twins leverage the best available models to create a virtual replica of an electrified powertrain. Often, the most accurate and high-fidelity models are FEA models or CFD models, which can take hours or even days to run on HPC clusters. While very accurate, these models are not suitable for monitoring a physical asset in real time or for running multiple simulations as part of a design of experiments. Reduced-order modeling technology takes these 3D models and reduces them to a form that preserves the key physical fidelity in a compact way so that they run in real time. This webinar explains how Ansys ROM technology enables high-fidelity electrified powertrain simulation in real time.
