How is SPH Adaptive Size different from standard SPH in Ansys FreeFlow?

      In standard SPH simulations:

      • All SPH elements have the same size and spacing.
      • Resolution is fixed throughout the simulation.
      • Improving accuracy requires globally reducing SPH elements spacing.

      With SPH Adaptive Size:

      1. Element size can change locally during simulation.
      2. Resolution is higher only in selected regions or near boundaries.
      3. The overall number of elements can be significantly reduced compared to a uniform fine-resolution model.
      4. As a consequence of a lower number of SPH elements, the simulation execution time can be reduced.
