SubscriberHello, i'm simulating the FSI simulation of the interaction between object (structural) and fluent (air).Â
I want to realize the turbulent flow for the inlet in the FSI simulation. I mean, the input wind in the simulation should applies the fluctuating pressure on the object, since the turbulent flow has varying direction and magnitude. I utilized a lot of viscous model in FLUENT such as, k-w and k-e, However, in transient simulation it seems laminar flow is applied from the inletÂ
Â
how can i make the fluctuating wind(just like natural wind) which has varying magnituda and direction in FSI simulation?Â

Forum ModeratorYou'd need LES or similar to see any effect of the turbulence, but that's likely to be masked by the inherent transient effects of gusting. Have a think about your definitions and exactly what you're trying to determine.Â
