TEGs in Thermal Desktop

Near as I can tell, this is the replacement for the CRTech forums for Thermal Desktop questions?

I am working with TEGs for the first time, and I have some confusion about how they work in TD. I am in early design phases, and was hoping I could use my TD model to help predict power output from a TEG. Given that either a current, power or voltage is a required input, it seems as if the software is designed more with TEGs as a thermal input to a broader model, not as an output data source to aid in TEG design/selection. Is that acurate, or did I miss something?

Hopefully the old forum isn't gone, I imagine this question was already answered there.
