Surface Discharge Simulation result file in EMA3D

We have been running simulations for surface discharge in EMA3D with step size (internal time steps) of 5e-13s. However, as we increase the total time steps (number of internal time steps), the simulation time and the result file size increases. We tried using higher step size (larger than 5e-13s) but it gives incorrect result.

      1. Is there any way to reduce the result (.h5) file size by removing unnecessary data (it calculates about 30 different properties, we only use 3/4.)?
      2. Is there any way to extract the data only for a certain section of simulation (50000 to 100000 steps of a 100000 total steps simulation) from the .h5 result file?
      3. Is there any way to reduce the simulation time other than reducing mesh or total time steps?

      Thank you!
