SubscriberI am modeling a phase change material and understanding its heat transfer dynamics using Ansys Fluent (I am open to using any other tools like CFX, etc. But, for now, I am using Fluent). In order to capture the phase change dynamics, I am modeling the specific heat of the material as a function of both temperature and pressure. However, using the user-defined function (UDF) to add specific heat, I am restricted to using the 'DEFINE_SPECIFIC_HEAT' macros, that restricts the UDF to access only the cell temperature and not pressure. As a result, I am unable to add pressure-dependent specific heat in my model.Â
Is there an alternative to UDF or any other way to add specific heat as a function of both temperature and pressure? If not in Fluent, does any of the other Ansys tools allow this?Â
