SpaceClaim & Sketch Plane

In SpaceClaim, If there is a straight line segment, how can I create a sketch plane(or say workplane) which is through an endpoint and perpendicular to the line segment?
What’s more, If the endpoint is shared by several line segment, the sketch plane result is sole when I place my cursor on the endpoint. That means the sketch plane is only perpendicular to one certain line segment that I can’t specify which line segment.

Because I need create a section pattern in a plane which is perpendicular to the line and pull the pattern along the line.

Hello,

I would suggest you create a coordinate system first, this will create an x,y,z coordinate, of which one of the axis will be parallel to the line. If you create a plane using this axis, you would get a plane that is parpendicular to the line. Then you can move this plane to the endpoint, using the move tool.
