SubscriberHello,
I have done some convergence studies in Ansys before and I have checked in tutorials about how I can add a Convergence study in one of the results, but somehow I am not finding this option anymore.
I was suppose to see a "Convergence" option between "Volume" and "Alert", but I cannot see it.Â
Do you know what are the possible reasons for it?
Thank you!

Ansys EmployeeHi,
You may be hitting the limitations of convergence object.
The Convergence object is applicable to Static Structural, Modal, Eigenvalue Buckling, Steady-State Thermal, and Magnetostatic analyses. Note the following requirements: Only one Convergence object is valid per result object. Convergence is not supported: For result objects that belong to linked analyses. If an imported load object exists in the environment. When Imported Plies or Imported Thickness objects are used. Also, Element Orientation would make convergence not available.
Please go through the requirements and limitations of convergence objects from the following link.

Does the ‘no imported load’ limitation include imported temperature fields?                                                                                     grade calculator                                                                                              Â

Ansys EmployeeHello,Â
If you are importing temperature fields using external data, then you can use convergence object.
However, if the temperature fields are imported from the upstream thermal analysis system (By connecting them in WB project page), then, convergence object is not available.
