SubscriberKind and smart people, please consult me.
I am trying to simulate cavitation in a closed volume. Is it possible to simulate cavitation with a compressible working fluid in the Ansys module or other software (as I understand it, compressibility is determined by the modulus of elasticity)?
In Fluent, cavitation models do not work with the сompressible-liquid mode for density - "Both liquid and vapor phases can be incompressible or compressible. For compressible liquids, the density is described using a user-defined function" - you need to write a UDF for density (please share, if you have some), if this has changed in the new versions, please tell me, I did not find the information myself.
In CFX, compressibility seems to be set via Tait EOS, but I have not found information on whether this will work normally with cavitation.
I kindly ask knowledgeable people to share the information.
