pure iron material

please i am finding it difficult to locate pure iron material in ansys maxwell.can you kindly help?

Hello,

You can directly search with iron and select the the iron material from material libraries as shown in attached image.

.

If available iron material is not meeting your requirements then you can create your own custom iron (pure iron) material.

To create cutom material, In select definition window select the required material > click on clone materials > change the properties of the material > click OK and use it.

Please note that, selecting the material is an engineering decision. You can get the required properties of the material from the manufacturer for accurate representation.
