      Hello,

This is my terminal drive wave port and I do have reference defined for the port which is a PEC.

I am wondering is it the die (dieelectric, FR4 material) that causing the issues here. How can I solve this?

      Hello,

Have created air box (open region) around the model? If not please create open region around the model.

Use sheet for assinging the wave port and not 3D object.

Please go through Simulation of a Microstrip Line in Ansys HFSS – YouTube video. Also go through “Wave ports” and “Assign Wave ports” sections in HFSS document for more information about wave port size and how to assign it.

      Thank you,
      Chinmay
