SubscriberI am writing to inquire about the capabilities of ANSYS 2025 R2 for performing multiphase simulations involving porous zones. Specifically, I would like to know: 1. Whether it is possible to model multiphase flow (liquid - vapor) within a porous medium using the porous zone feature in ANSYS 2025 R2. Â 2. If so, which multiphase models (e.g., VOF) are compatible with porous zone simulations. 3. Whether there are any specific settings, limitations, or best practices to consider when setting up such a simulation.

Forum ModeratorYes. All of them. Several, luckily the documentation is rather comprehensive in that regard. There's also Rocky coupling should you need it.Â
