SubscriberHello, so I'm using Motor CAD to do motor design and analysis, and I got some problem when I move to axial flux motor.
First is in the E-magnetic model -> Winding -> Definition tag, the software doesn't draw the conductors in it and claim there is 0 conductor in the slot, making it impossible to see the actual slot filling.
Also in the Lab Model, the corresponding analysis, especially the efficiency map cannot be plotted correctly.
Just wondering is it the axial flux motor function is in beta version, so that a lot of components cannot work at the present?
Looks like I should move to Maxwell for axial flux motor analysis.
Any comments appreciated, thank you in advance

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Thank you for your feedback regarding the BPM Axial machine in Motor-CAD. As indicated by its name, Axial (Beta), it is indeed a beta feature. If visualizing individual turns is important for your application, nowadays, I recommend using Maxwell for this specific machine type.
