Issue Restarting CFD-DEM Simulation with Domain Rotation

      Hello,

I performed a CFD-DEM simulation using Rocky and Fluent without domain rotation. I would now like to restart from the final data, this time applying domain rotation. I saved the case as a new project for restart and uploaded the Fluent .cas.h5 file, which includes domain rotation, in the CFD coupling section. However, the Fluent data was lost. Could you please advise me on how to correctly perform this restart?

      Hello,

Please ensure that you save the case as well as the data file. Did you get any warnings/errors while saving or closing the case?

From Rocky, I go to the last time step and select File → Save Project As to save it as a new project for restart.
Then I open the Rocky for-restart file and go to CFD Coupling → 2-way Fluent → Fluent → Case File → Load to load the new .cas.h5 Fluent file, which now includes domain rotation. However, I see the following message, which I think is the reason why the CFD results are deleted.

Is there a way to use the Fluent file with rotation while keeping the final CFD results from the test without rotation?

One possible solution could be to use a Fluent setup without domain rotation between 0 and 10 s for example, and then with domain rotation between 10 and 20 s. This way, there would be no need for a restart. However, I am not sure how to define that in the Fluent interface.
