How to develop of lumbar spine ligament

  Static structural analysis on lumbar spine
  What easiest way to develop the ligament for human spine L4 L5? using Line bodies beams covert it to truss or links. or using spring element as ligament. or have another way to develop the ligament.
  if anyone have done this before, can share how you do it.

  Hello, there are actually a lot of papers out there that explained how this is done so do some quick searches. I've used a series of discrete elements (mat_nonlinear_elastic_discrete_beam) in one of my project with the author of this dissertation: https://biomed.drexel.edu/implantcenter/CV-Dissertations-Thesis/steven-rundell-dissertation.pdf
