HFSS 3D Layout Intersection Error

  I’m working on a PCB in HFSS 3D Layout where I’ve imported a connector as a .a3dcomp file. When I run the analysis, the analysis fails and the log shows an HFSS 3D layout intersection. Since the .a3dcomp is locked, I can’t select or edit its individual parts to resolve the overlap.
  What’s the recommended way to handle geometry intersections between a 3D component and the PCB in HFSS?

  The 3D Component appears to be interfering with the Top layer in HFSS 3D Layout. Review the placement of the 3D Component, or consider editing the shape of the Top layer so that it does not interfere with the 3D Component.
