    I have completed ansys fluent but i was stucked at ansys discovery topic resulted me unable to do the exercise.
    
    In the Ansys basic training video, i was stucked as mentioned below:
    I'm facing some minor difficulties while doing the training videos and practice software by myself. In part 3, I have tried to click "hide others" but it seems still different with the videos. After clicking "cut" function, its only shows "one solid" at my model software but training videos shown 2 solid below the volume.
    
    Same goes to part 2 video, when I tried to click "hide others" according to video coaching but fail hiding some parts.
    
    I try to request help from some ansys staff but they advise me come to FORUM.

    It is showing the free trial for 30 days only but students software are free for 1 year, right?
    correct me if I am wrong?

      Student bundle is one year from it's creation. 24R2 will time out shortly as will 25R1. 25R2 should be good until about July, with 26R1 due when it's ready.

  Hi, i not understand about this step. can anyone advise? I only know how to model FULL volume, not half. Below is the photo after my model. Am i right or wrong?

  Modelling half just means you can use fewer cells or twice the resolution depending on why you're chopping a model in half/quarter/whatever.
  Not sure why you can't transfer, but as I have no idea what else you've done it's difficult to advise.
